Rattlesnake Rock
"About the third day they arrived at the larger rock on the west side of the river, and found as many as thrity rattle snakes lying on the rock, sunning themselves. The parking area for Rattlesnake Rock is what I believe to be the nicest, must stop, parking location on the Pine Creek Rail Trail. By the rock you'll find a very deep fishing, and or swimming hole. As always be careful when walking on the rock. Rattlesnake Rock doesn't have that name for nothing, if you know anything about where rattle snakes like to hide you'll easily see why they would like this rock.

Robert McCullough Jr. (Blackwell)

You can park at the The Robert Robert McCullough Jr. Parking area for the Pine Creek Rail Trail, but they prefer that you park at Rattlesnake Rock Robert McCullough Jr. Parking area is maily for fisherman and canoe access.
Butler Access / Northern Terminus

Ansonia / Marsh Creek Access
Here you'll find the section of the Pine Creek Rail Trail, know as the Ansonia or Marsh Creek Access Parking area, that permits the riding of horses along side the trail. The horseback riding section is around 5.55 miles long and runs from the Ansonia Parking Area to the Tiadaghton Camping Area.
When you arrive at the entrance of the horseback riding area of the rail trail, you will find signs indicating the section of the trail that you are permitted to ride on.
The trail section designated for horses runs along side the biking trail portion of the rail trail. The horseback trail runs through one of the most popular areas of the trail. You will pass the trail entrance to the Turkey Path Trail that leads you Leonard Harrison State Park.
