Slate Run Tackle Shop/Wolfes General Store is located in the historic Pine Creek Valley, close to the Pine Creek Rail Trail and Pine Creek.  Our goal is to provide polite, friendly service to each customer that enters the store and to make sure that his or her vacation is better because of us.  Our completely stocked full-line Orvis® Shop is among the finest in the country.  We can meet your needs in all phases of fly fishing from field clothing, a large self-service fly display, to a complete line of field tested rods to help you make the proper decisions when buying a rod.  Wolfe’s General Store is another part of our full-service operation. Here you will find everything from sodas and sharp cheese to a hefty “T” bone steak to cook for your dinner after a day on the stream. So whether you need a tank of gas for your car or a new bamboo fly rod, we can satisfy all your needs!  For those interested in riding on the Pine Creek Rail Trail, we also rent bikes.
